Using the services of Jacqueline as a proofreader and editor has dramatically improved my working life and productivity in a number of ways. Jacqueline is a careful, accurate and reliable editor with very keen attention to detail. I never worry now about the tedious and time-consuming process of preparing my manuscripts for different journal formats – I just tell Jacqueline which journal we are going for and my manuscript comes back from her in perfect journal format. She corrects everything she can using track changes (making me a better writer), and where she has queries they are clear, helpful, and to the point.
As Editor-in-chief of African Journal of Disability, I have come to rely on Jacqueline’s expertise in helping inexperienced English second-language authors to get their work into a format which is acceptable to send out for peer review. Jacqueline has helped countless masters and doctoral students with editing and formatting their theses and dissertations and she is especially helpful to students who struggle to write in clear, plain English.
Jacqueline’s rates are extremely competitive especially for such a prompt and professional service, and I can recommend her work very highly indeed.

Working with JG has been an amazing experience. I had absolutely no idea
of the challenges of doing a PhD through publications. Since working with
Ms JG from 2012 to date, I have successfully published seven articles in
international peer reviewed journals.
This has been due to her professionalism, technical expertise, proficiency
in English, time management skills and her amazing person centred approach.
She is not just dealing with the work but also brings part of her humaneness
into her work – something that one cannot get in this era of technology.
I am looking forward to her editing and proofreading of my PhD thesis and
to prepare for my dissertation defence. I highly recommend JG to anyone
who would like to work with this fantastic professional and expert without
any reservation. Thank you so much JG. Johannah Keikelame.

I have now made use of Jacqueline’s editing services for several years,
and have no hesitation of any kind in recommending her as someone
with exceptional skills. It is a great weight off my mind to be able
to pass a manuscript onto Jacqueline, and feel completely secure that it
will be meticulously examined, and corrected in her elegant and often insightful
way.
I have the sense that Jacqueline really applies her mind to understanding
what it is that I am trying to communicate in my writing, and she is thus
able to ascertain the best possible alterations which express the meaning
most accurately. I have published at least five articles in international
journals which have been edited by Jacqueline, and look forward to many
more. I count myself fortunate to have found someone with such excellent
skills, who is also very prompt and responsive, as well as a pleasure to
interact with personally.

I have had the pleasure of working with Jacqueline Gamble for more than four years. Over this time, she has assisted me in preparing more than 15 manuscripts for publication in local and international peer reviewed academic journals. Her professional editing skills and attention to detail, together with her deep understanding of the requirements of academic writing and the publishing process, have been invaluable to me. I have no hesitation in recommending Jacqueline as a professional, efficient and skilled editor.

I was extraordinarily fortunate to be referred to Jacqueline to do the editing of my PhD. Not only did her commitment to working long hours ensure that I met the deadline, but her understanding and insight made what could have been a tedious and difficult process into a wonderful experience. Her meticulous attention to detail produced an error-free and well-structured document which resulted in all three of my examiners (two of whom were international) commenting on the high standard of editing. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
